Thank you for your reply. If it is possible for south african citizens to get the shenzen special economic zone tourist visa at the hong kong - china border, how much is it. Are south African citizens charged the expensive rate like the uk, or the cheaper rate of around hk$ 150. You're replies are very much appreciated.

the Shenzhen entry visa is open to all nationals but depending on the discretion of the visa officer. Should he/she suspect that you have plans of over staying or do some illicit act - he/she will deny your application and this is applicable to any foreigners alike
