Hi, I am planning to go to China by myself on either the 28th of June or July 1st.I want to travel for three weeks.I am thinking of going to Beijing and Xian.I just checked some hotels, and I might stay in Shanton Hotel in Beijing and Skytel Hotel in Xian.Are those hotels clean, quiet, safe and close to many tourist attractions?I want to experience culture and history, not shopping.What is the best way to visit two cities , maybe one more city?In what order do I need to travel, Xian for four days first and then Beijing for 16 days?I need some tips.Thanks.

Hi, you could consider to stay at Melody Hotel opposite the Bell Tower.  It is an international 3star hotel, and is clean & safe, though a little rundown.  The location is great, with Airport shuttle stopping right in front.
