About:Chinese Consulate in New York

Your office required us to show our old passport in order to receive a visa. We have looked and can't find our old expored passport. Will they still give us our visa with just the new passport? What else can we do to get the visa without the old expired passport?

If you can't provide the old expired passport, your visa application will maybe refused, you can tell the loss of old expired passport to the visa officer, it is up to the decision of visa officer.
