yes, you have to apply for China visa, you also need to provide other requirements besides the round-trip ticket and hotel reservation. If it is the first time for you to go to China, then there are more required documents to be provided, please read the list of requirements:
1. Applicant's passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
