About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am Filipino (from Philippines) and currently working in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. I entered China through a single-entry Z visa last April 2010. I have applied and have been issued with the residence permit for foreigners in China. Its validity is 1 year. I need to go to Taiwan for a business trip on the 3rd week of June. I need to visit our main office in Taiwan. Do I need to apply for a re-entry permit here in China so that I can go back? Do I need to apply for a Taiwan visa? If yes, can I apply for a multiple-entry visa, instead? Thanks!

You don't need to apply for a re-entry permit in China, you can enter and exit during the validity of your reidence permit. You need to apply for a Taiwan visa.

Thanks! May I ask for the requirements for Taiwan visa application? I used to work there in Taiwan (same company) before I was assigned in our company here in China. I had several business trips to China during that time.
