About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hello,

My family and I are going to accompany our mother in Guangzhou to undergo cancer treatment. While I reside in U.S, my parents are both retired and residing in the Philippines. Our return date is incumbent on the completion of her treatment which is estimated from 2 to 6 weeks. My parent and I are U.S citizens. We were issued an invitation letter from the hospital in China and had been issued China Visa with multiple entry. I would like to know if we are required to obtain a round trip ticket for this particular case? I would like to avoid the re-booking fee as well as the inconvenience if its not a requirement. I prefer to book the return ticket when I know exactly when to depart. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

A round-trip ticket is not required for this case. Please don't worry, now you have obtained the multiple-entry visa, when you pass the customs of Guangzhou baiyun international airport, your passport and the Chinese visa on your passport are checked by the immigration officer.
