About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

hi... how are u? me and my friends are travelling to Macau this June for a tourist and we plan to visit Hongkong too. How many hours is the travel from Macau-Hongkong? and is it permissible if as tourist we travel everyday from Macau to Hongkong coz we have a place to stay in Macau at much cheaper cost than the hotels in Hongkong, so we are thinking if its allowed for us to travel everyday to Hongkong, we don't need to book for our hotel in Hongkong. Also, do we need to bring invitation documents when we arrived in Macau, coz we are staying at a friends house in Macau, may be the immigration would ask for where do we stay, like in Singapore when we went there. Hope u could help me on this. Tnx much and God Bless!

Can you tell me the nationality of you and your friends? As I know, citizens of more than 170 countries don't need a visa to Hong Kong, citizens of about 65 countries don't need a visa to Macau.

Please don't worry now if you all are Filipinos, as I know, Philippines passport holders don't need a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days, they don't need a visa to Macau for up to 30 days, either. Therefore, you can travel every day between Macau and Hong Kong, you don't need a visa. the only problem is that your passport will be full of immigration stamps

you could travel everyday to Hong Kong, but that would also be expensive--a ferry ticket is about 160 each way...so you would each be paying more than 300 HKD a day (40 USD)...

@Mr. Edward: tnx so much for that info. u helped me a lot at least i won't worry now but now i'm thinking after Mr. Macau said how expensive the ferry fare is, maybe we should really reserved for a hotel that is much cheaper than the ferry fare.

@Mr. macau: tnx also for that info u shared with me... hope we could find a cheaper place to stay in Hongkong that is easily accessible to the hot spots in Hongkong. Do u know any? tnx so much for the help.
