Hi, my family will travel to Shanghai from Guangzhou in Sep. So, I must buy the tickets from this website now or wait until we are in Guangzhou. I'm afraid if I buy the tickets now, is it a promotion price later? How about for children under 12 years old? Pay for half price or full? What is the different between Hongqiao airport and Pudong airport ? Thank you....

It is hard to say but generally the early you buy the tickets, the lower discount you can enjoy. The airfare for the children between 2 and 12 years old is half the full adult ticket price. Pudong Airport is about 40km to the city center (the bund) while it is 13km from the Hongqiao Airport. Pudong Airport is larger than Hongqiao Airport and Hongqiao Airport mainly operates domestic flight routes.
