hi i am passing trough china form america to mongolia with a dogwill stay in beijing

Hi I am passing trough China form America to Mongolia with a dog and will stay in Beijing airport for 3 hours for my next flight. I heard rumors that they will quarantine my dog for a week even though I am passing trough. Could you provide me with any information about this?

There will be transit quarantine, but it will not take that long time. Usually, it will be very simple as long as you have the copy of the official animal quarantine certificate from the departure country and also animal quarantine permit for the entry of the destination country.
