Can I get a tourist visa to China with less than four months validity on my Alien Registration Card?

I can get a tourist visa to China with less than four months validity on my Alien Registration Card? I only have two months left, but I also have a plane ticket back to the United States after my trip to China.

Usually, the China Embassy requires the passport must be with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages left.
