Are there any train from Pudong Airport directly to Hangzhou? Or where can I take the train in Shanghai to Hangzhou? Thank you.

There is no direct train from Pudong Airport to Hangzhou, but there are some buses supplied everyday. On the other hand, you could take the shuttle bus Line 7 to Shanghai South Railway Station and then take an express train to Hangzhou.

How often does shuttle bus Line 7 operate like hourly? How long will the shuttle bus line 7 go to Shanghai South Railway Station? Thank you.

The bus is supplied once every 15~30 minutes, and takes about 40 minutes to the railway station.

Can I book the train tickets to Hangzhou on the day I arrive at Shanghai South Railway Station? Are there many train timings from Shanghai South Railway Station to Hangzhou? Thank you.

Hi Liz, if you arrive at the railway sation early on weekday, it is possible for you to purchase a train ticket, which will depart one or two hours later. Otherwise, it is suggested that you book a ticket in advance since the D-train from Shanghai to Hangzhou is not as many as trains from Shanghai to Suzhou.
