About:China Train

Hello Everybody!
I'll be traveling to China this summer for the first time. I've been reading up on the train system to travel long distances. I could use some expert advice. I'd prefer the cheapest but most efficient.

Which train should I take to go from Hong Kong to Beijing? Is there a daily departure?
Shanghai to Yangshuo? Is there a daily departure?
Yangshuo to Shenzhen? Is there a daily departure?
Thanks for the help!

Hong Kong to Beijing: there in only one train on this route and the train runs every two days.
Shanghai to Yangshuo: there is no train on this route. So you can take a train from Shanghai to Guilin and then transfer to a bus or ferry to Yangshuo. The transportation between Guilin and Yangshuo is rather convenient.
Yangshuo to Shenzhen: there is no train on this route, so you neeed to reach Guilin and take a train from Guilin to Shenzhen.
