About:Shanghai Maglev Train

I am deciding between taking a 9.45am international flight from PVG or one that leaves past 11am (both on a Monday) - the hotel I am staying at is around 20 min drive to the Maglev station (on Google Maps). Currently I am thinking of taking the taxi then Maglev. Can I make it in time for the 9.45am flight?

Yes, you can. The first maglev train (from Longyang Road station) leaves at 6:45am. So, you have enough time to make the earlier flight.

Would there be any difficulty with traffic? I know it is doable but I don't think I'd want to wake up at 4.30am just to avoid the cars or whatnot.

You would take taxi and maglev train. The traffic is easy. You do not have to wake up so early.
