About:Jiaozuo Travel

Yes, I am coming to Jiaozuo to teach English for 3 weeks beginning July 10. I'm so excited! This region seems to rich in places to visit! I am very lucky. Can you tell me where the caves containing the 8 to 12-foot carved statues of Buddha are located? This much be fabulous!

I will be teaching Chinese teachers who teach to elementary school Chinese students. I want to bring them all a small present from the USA. What do you think they might like? So many things here are "made in China, " but I want to bring them something authentic!

I'm trying to learn a little spoken Chinese before I come. Do many people in Jiaozuo speak English?

What is the specialty food for this region?

Will it be easy for me to buy a hairdryer when I am there? How much might this cost? THANKS for your help!

Not many local people can speak English. No cpecial food and you may not get used to. You can try 武陟油茶 (oil tea literally). Easy to buy a hairdryer. It costs depend on quality and brands. 100RMb can buy a good one. Yuntai Shan in Jiaozuo is a very famous scenic area. You must go there.
