About:Chinese Consulate in San Francisco

Hello,
My Dad is renewing his HKSAR passport and HKID. But one of the form request his fingerprint. I asked HK immigrants and he replied me that we need to make our own fingerprint on the form which mean we need to prepare our own ink pad to do it. However, I am not sure if I apply that through China Consulate at SF. Will they do it for me. Will they provide tool for us to make this fingerprint?

If your dad live in Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington or Alaska, he can go to the Consulate of China in San Francisco to renew his HKSAR passport, the consulate will provide toll for you to make this fingerprint.
