About:Temple of Heaven

I paid for my tickets to the Temple of Heaven and passed through the security gates.  As I approached the Imperial Vault of Heaven, I was quickly greeted by two men....... "Welcome to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: China's great Temple of Heaven.  Before you explore and learn about this amazing Ming and Qing legacy, please buy a fake CHINA Rolex watch from me.  100 RMB."  They openly joke that China has become the Brand name for FAKE.!.  I can't help but wonder if China has lost the fight and that they will forever be known as the worlds low quality outlet for cheap, fake goods.

For those who wish to argue, I ask the followng: why does China allow (inside of the paid gates of a Chinese and UNESCO heritage site) these con men to chase her visitors through the site for 10 minutes, openly selling illegal counterfeit goods?

This simple interaction with these con man provoked me to wonder, "which is China's true face?"

Yes...I agree. We are currently in Beijing and OK I admit I love to shop...BUT China is not what I expected. I dont really want the fakes I just want good designs and great shopping..EVERYWHERE we go are fakes...We are also here for business and dont want to purchase the fakes to sell...So hard to find quality...non fake branded stuff. Come on China, get off the copy chain!
