The requirements for them to apply for China tourist visa (L visa):
(i) Original passport with at least two blank visa pages. For single entry visa, your passport should be valid at least 6 months; For double-entry or multiple-entry(six-month) visas, your passport should be valid at least 9 months; For one year multiple-entry visa, your passport should be valid at least 15 months;
(ii) One completed Visa Application Form (e-Form / Download) with a recently-taken passport photo stuck on it; all the items on the application form should be completed neatly with genuine information; if the applicant has a Chinese name, the Chinese name should be filled in.
(iii) Those who apply for tourism in China should provide round-trip airline tickets and hotel reservation,for family visit should provide certificate of relationship.
(iv) Non-Singapore citizens shall provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in the SPR,WP,EP,STP,DP. Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special cases, consular officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not.
They can submit the visa application to Chinese visa application service center in Singapore. The Chinese embassy in Singapore refuses to accept visa application from ordinary paspsort holders from 14th May.
