About:China Business Visa

good afternoon..having read much of what has been written I/we still are not sure of what my/our position is.
We are an Australian Couple.. no not married by have been together for many years.
We cam to China in February of 2010 on a 6mth Tourist Visa..double entry but maximum stay of 30 days on each entry.
We have since then obtained another Visa also Tourist, double Entry for 6 mths with 90 day stay each time.
My Partner has now been offered A position with a small school ( we are both Qualified Teachers)the School that has offered her a Position has said they will arrange a 6mths multi entry F Visa. We believe the School is being funded by an overseas investor. We are currently in Shenzhen & that is where the teaching position is... what are the legalities of her working with only an F Visa.. she has also been told that it will be required for her to have a single entry F Visa to begin..then it can be upgraded to Multi Entry...I really do hope that I was able to explain myself well enough

Mr.West, It is advisable for you and your partner to get a work visa in China, you can't teach in China with a Business (F) visa or Tourist (L) visa, once you are checked by the police, you will face some problems although they won't check in most situations. Now if the small school can only help you to apply for F visa, you can work in the school, maybe the school can't help you to apply for multiple-entry F visa for the first time. In fact, if you won't exit China and re-enter, the single-entry visa is also Ok.
