About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Hello,

I am a British citizen working in HCMC, I have recently been offered a job in China but would like to know if I can apply for a work visa (Z) here in Vietnam, if so what are the requirements?

Also, do you know if it is really necessary to have a return flight ticket?

I have had 2 chinese visas from the U.K before and never had to show my flight ticket.

Thank you so much.

You don't need to provide the return flight ticket for work visa application. however, I'm not sure that that you can apply for China work visa in HCMC, generally speaking, you should have a Vietnam residence permit or valid visa valid for more than 6 months, then you can apply for China visa in Vietnam.

as for the requirements for China work visa:
1. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with blank visa pages and copy of the first three pages;
2. Filled Visa Application Form with one passport photo
3. Original Employment License for Foreigners issued by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China and copy
4.Original Visa Notice Form issued by authorized departments of Chinese Government
5.Physical Examination Report from local public hospitals and copy

Thank you so much.

Yes, I do have a Vietnam work permit so do you think it will be possible to get a Chinese work visa?
