About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

My wifee wishes to return tiCina to live permanently. She has an American Green Card but her Chinese passport has expired. How does she replace her Chinese Passport? She wishes to leave immediately.

She can go to the Visa & Passport Office of the Chinese Embassy or Consulate -General in USA which holds consular jurisdiction over the state where she reside to apply for a new Chinese passport, then she can return to China and live permanently.
