About:Visa Policy of China

Hi. I have a Korean national friend who has a philippine temporary visa valid until May 18, 2010. He will be visiting China on the 11th to 16th of May. Will Chinese Embassy allow him to enter China with his existing Visa or does he needs to extend his philippine visa first?

Maybe Chinese embassy in Manila will refuse its visa application because his Phillipine temporary visa will expire, generally speaking, applicants should hold a visa valid for more than 6 months if they want to apply for China visa in a third country/region. He can have a try! Maybe he will get a single-entry visa.
