About:Chinese Embassy in Spain

Hi,
I currently have foreign residency in Spain and I need to apply for a visa to go to China as I am leaving directly from Madrid.
Is it okay for me to apply for a visa in Madrid, or do I have to send my passport back to the USA to get it processed?
I am traveling in July.

Thank you.

You can apply for China visa in Madrid becaue you have foreign residency in Spain, you don't need to send your passport back to USA for visa application.
