My grandmother holds a Taiwanese passport, but resides in the Philippines. If she has a flight from Manila to New York with a stop-over in Beijing (2 hours) via Air China, what documentation does she need other than her passport and ticket?

In my opinion, she don't need a visa for the 2 hours stopover if she won't leave the airport.
