About:China Work Visa

I am working for many chineese companies as consultant and bringing many overseas projects. My presence in china is not required all the time. I am planning to get an employment visa from any of the company to maintain NRI status.

To maintain employment visa status, how many days i must be in china? Is there any rule like that?

What is the validy of employment visa and how long it will take?

there is not any rule about how many days you should stay in China for Employment Visa holders, generally speaking, Employment Visa is valid for 3 months for a single entry with no specified duration of stay. One is obliged to apply for residence permit at the local public security bureau within a month after entering China. the Residence Permit looks like residence visa stamped on the visa page of passport, you can use it to exit and enter China for many times during its validity.

if all required documents are prepared, it takes 4 working days.
