About:History of China

I have come from Canada to China for my son Justin and he was having a concert there so, I was wondering that; If there are so many dynasties would all dynasties have an emperor or was the emperor history long past the dynasties?

As you can see from the chart, dynasties forms a thread that runs through Chinese history, almost from the begining to the founding of People's Republic of China. Dynasty means a succession of rulers from the same family or line. One dynasty has several emperors. Dynasties coexist with emperors.
