hi!i am going to arrive at pudong,will be transferring to the hanting

Hi!I am going to arrive at Pudong, and will be transferring to the Hanting Express-Hongqiao Airport Inn(汉庭快捷酒店-上海虹桥机场店) at No.58 Huqingping Road, Changning District. I am told that it is just outside of the entrance to Hongqiao Airport.I would like to take the #1 Bus from Pudong, but have two questions. 1) Will the #1 Bus go past this hotel and will it stop there for me if I ask the driver?2) I will have a lot of luggage. Are carts available at the baggage claim at Pudong, and can I take them to the #1 Bus boarding area?

1. seems the bus doesn't stop on the way, but you could have a try to ask the conductor.2. yes, there are carts which you could get once arrive at Pudong Airport. However, it couldn't be push out of the Arrival Hall as I know.

THANKS! :-)  So, if I arrive and have too much luggage to handle myself, how to get it to a Bus or Taxi past the Arrival Hall? Are there porters to help with luggage? I so, what should I tip them?

Well, you could use the cart until to the taxi stop, but not very sure about the shuttle bus station. Actually, if you have many luggage, it is suggested that you take a cab since the shuttle bus is alway crowded.

Thanks for the advice! Cab it is! Since my Hotel is near Hongqiao Airport, I assume the fare will be close to the CNY200 that I have read elsewhere. They will run a meter or it is a fixed rate? Is tipping customary; if so, how much? Also, if I don't have enough CNY on arrival, are there ATMs in the arrival hall of the airport?

Usually, the taxi is charged by meter. Please change to another cab if the driver refuses to charge by meter. No tip is required in China! When you arrive at Pudong, you could find ATMs, Banks and Money Exchange Center easily.

Aitport bus will not stop on the way. It is about 5 minutes' bus ride from the airport to Hanting Express. As I know, the hotel offer shuttle bus service for free. You can contact and confirm this information with the hotel and ask for puck-up service.
