Dear Sir,    I want to ask about how to apply visa for my Srilanka colleague. She just got a permanent work permit in Thailand a month ago. Now we have to apply a Hong kong visa for her. We just want to know the approximate time for visa apply process. Because we checked last time, it would take one month, but we're curious if we could make it faster? Because, We also have to apply for other visa at the same time as well.  ThanksKay

If you submit your visa application to the HKSAR Immigration Department either directly by post or through a local sponsor, it takes about 1 month, your Srilanka colleague can apply for Hong Kong visa at the Chinese embassy or consulates in Thailand. It takes 4 working days.
