About:China Work Visa

We are originating an office in China, just starting the paperwork. We have a client who would like us to perform some work in the Shanghai area prior to this being completed. Is there a temporary Visa (Z visa) that a designated person can apply for that will enable them to perform consulting work as we develop our office?
Thank you,
Lee

I think you may just apply for a Business visa for the designated person first if he/she won't stay in China for longer than 30 days.
