Question

We are planning to go Leping City. I understand that the nearest airport to this city is Jingdezhen airport. Is there a direct daily flight from Shanghai to the airport? What alternative means of transportation can we take Leping City other than by airplane. We are coming from Philippines and our entry point in China is either Shanghai or Beijing. Thanks.

Shanghai and Beijing both has flight to the airport, 8:45 at Shanghai Hongqiao, 17:05 at Beijing. The air ticket from Shanghai to the airport is much cheaper. If you get to Shanghai first, there is also a train for you to choose. It takes about 17 hours from Shanghai Railway Station. The train number is K782. The train departs at 12:22 at noon. So, you can also choose either train or flight by the time of departure and your arrival time by air at Shanghai.
