About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hi, we are flying into and out of Shanghai (from the UK & we are UK citizens) but are going to make a brief visit to Hong Kong. Do we need a double entry visa as we will be coming back to Shanghai for a couple of days before we fly home - is this classed as entering China once or twice? Thanks...

Mr.John, you enter China twice, from UK to Shanghai is the first entry, return to Shanghai from Hong Kong is the second entry.
