Mr.Rakesh Aggarwal, India passport holders don't need a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days, you just need a visa to Guangzhou, China, it is advisable to apply for tourist visa to China because you don't have the Visa notification issued by an authorized unit in China or original invitation letter from the legally registered company in China. You can prepare the requirements for tourist visa application:

i) Original passport which has more than 6 months left before it expires from the date of application for a visa and sufficient blank visa pages.

(ii) One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken passport photo; all the items on the application form should be completed neatly with genuine information; if the applicant has a Chinese name, the Chinese name should be filled in; false or incomplete information and illegible characters may lead to refusal of a visa.

(iii) Proof of sufficient finances to cover all expenditures in China when requied. Original Bank Certificate with minimum balance of Rs 1.5 lacs.

(iv) Confirmed return flight ticket and its photocopy.

(v) Covering letter from applicant's company or office.

(vi) Photocopy of personal data page of applicant's passport.

Sir,
The e-invitation for 107th session of China Import and Export Fair has been issued in the name of my company having my name and invitation no. (E9763548). I was under impression that this e-invitation would entitle me business visa as my sole purpose to visit China is to attend the fair and make purchases. Please clarify.

Mr.Rakesh Aggarwal, in most situations, the visa officer will refuse your business application if you don't have the original Visa notification letter from relevant authorities in China, if you insist on applying for business visa, you can have a try with your e-invitation letter.
