About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hi~ I am a HK citizen (and also hold an Australian passport), currently residing in South Korea. I haven't been to China before, but would it be easier for me to get a visa as a HK citizen or as an Australian??

Ms.Jamie Chiu, it is both easy for you to get a visa to China, if you use the HKSAR passport, you should apply for Hong Kong entry permit, if you use the Australia passport, you should apply for tourist visa.

So I could go to the Chinese Embassy in Seoul using my HKSAR identity card to apply? Thanks for the info! I have been trying to search on the embassy site, but couldn't really find anything.

Ms.Jamie Chiu, I made a mistake in my previous reply, you should apply for Travel Permit of China if you use the HKSAR passport rather than Hong Kong entry permit. For the HKSAR passport holders who don't have the Entry Permit for Enter & Exit Mainland China can apply for the Travel Permit of China to enter Mainland China.
