About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Hello,

I am a US passport holder and want to enter China at the end of May. My passport expires on Nov 10th 2010 and the 6 month validity date ends May 10th.

My question is:

If i apply for a chinese visa before May 10th and to travel on May 23rd, will there be any issues getting into the country? I will most likely fly into Beijing.

Will I have any issues when I leave the country because my passport will enter into less than 6 month validity?

Thanks!

Ms.Mindy, the passport with at least 6 months remaining validity is required when you apply for China visa. After you get the China visa, you are permitted to enter and leave China if your passport is valid even though it doesn't have 6 months remaining validity. Please obtain China visa before May 10th, then enter and exit China when your passport is still valid.
