About:Embassy & Consulates of Philippines in China

I renewed my passport at Guangzhou Phil.Consulate a year ago,and they have granted me a green passort...and will expire on 2014...i have heard news that in Macau is they don't honor green passports anymore...or if i were in the Philippines and apply for a Chinese visa at the Chinese embassy(Phils.) using green passport,is they no longer will give or approve...is this news true?Some confussions such as these news were made by some Filipinos themselves and i intend to get to know the truth.

Mr. Larsan, I get the information from the official website of Phlippines Consulate in Shanghai, China: all regular green passports issued earlier will remain valid and will be honored by immigration authorities worldwide until the expiry date stated in their passports. Therefore, your green passport is still honored by Chinese embassy in Philippines.
