About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

I have chinese wife and she is in china and i want to get work visa for residence purpose. more over i have never visited china. but my wife(chinese) has come to pakistan and lived here with me for three years this time she is in china please guide me what should i do

Mr.Akram, you can apply for Tourist Visa for family visit first, after entering China, you can find a job and your employer obtains the work permit and official visa notice for you, then you return to Pakistan to apply for work visa.

Visa for family/relative visit (L visa)

You should submit:

(I) Original passport with validity more than six months and minimum 2 blank visa pages;

(II) Photocopy of the first 2 pages (personal information) of the passport and the recent Chinese visa page if there is any;

(II) One fully completed visa application form in Chinese or English, attached with one of the applicant's recent color photograph (30mm X 40mm)

(III) Certificate of the relationship between you and the person in China you want to visit (original and photocopy)

(IV) Invitation letter from your wife

(V) ID card copy or passport copy of your wife

(VI) marriage certificate
