About:Chinese Embassy in Belgium

Dear,

this summer, I will be travelling in India, China, Japan and Australia. We will fly from Calcutta to Beijing at the beginning of June, then over land to Shanghai to fly from there to Tokyo at the end of July. It is a return ticket Shanghai - Tokyo, so we will fly back into China half of August. Then we will continue our journey over land to Hong Kong, to fly out frm there to Singapore at the end of August.

Could you please let me know which visa's I would need for this trip? A double entry visit for China, I suppose? And do I need a seperate visa for Hong Kong?

Thanks for getting back to me!

Yours sincerely,

A. Brummer

Mr.Brummer, you need a double-entry tourist visa to Mainland China, first entry: Calcutta-Beijing-Shanghai, second entry: Tokyo-Shanghai, you don't need a seperate visa for Hong Kong because Belgium passport holders enjoy visa free access to Hong Kong for up to 90 days.
