About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Hello,
I am Croatian national and have applied for Chinese visa in Hanoi but got rejected although I got working and tourist Chinese visa before (my last working visa expired 3 weeks ago). Does it make more sense to try to apply in Saigon (as we were advised) or try again in Hanoi? Also, could the problem be in the fact that I have only two blank visa pages left in my passport? My passport expires in July 2011 so it wasn't a problem.
Thank you for the answer.

Mr.SMATIJEV, do you have a work permit or residence permit in Vietnam? are you just temporary visitors to Vietnam, sometimes, the visa officer of Chinese embassy will refuse to issue China visa to aliens who are not resident in this country. The Vietnam work permit or residence permit valid for more than 6 months is helpful for your visa application. you can have a try to apply for China visa in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City).
