About:Chinese Consulates in Russia

Hi,
I'm Danish and will be in Khabarovsk at the end of April and want to apply for a visa there for a one week holiday in May in Beijing.
Can I just go to the Consulate with my flight and hotel reservation and apply for the visa or do I need an invitation from someone?
Thanks, Michael

Mr.Michael Bang, can you tell me did you get the China visa at the consulate in Khabarovsk? I'm a Uk citizen visiting Russia, want to get a China visa in Khabarovsk, then go to China for holiday, I don't know whether I can get a visa or not.

Hi William,
Yes we got the visa while in Khabarovsk - We got a travel agency to apply and they did the procedure.
We paid about RUB 8.000 for both me and my wife.
They even picked up the passports from our work etc.

Mr.Michael Bang, thank you very much, I will also find a travel agency to apply for China visa for me, I'm afraid that my application will be denied because I'm not a resident in RUSSIA.

Hi William,
I am not sure they wont give you the visa - in general they are very positive.
You can check with an agency and they will ask to Consultate.
Good luck
