About:Xian Train

Four (4) members of my family are going to take a High Speed train from Zhengzhou to Xi'an on May 29, 2010 and return to Zhengzhou on June 1, 2010 in the morning (to catch the flight to Beijing early in the afternoon). I would appreciate greatly if someone can help me with information as how to buy train tickets in advance, before leaving the U.S for China around the 10th of May.
I also would like to know how to get to Yuntaishan mountain, how to purchase tickets for the trip. And above all, how long does it take to see some major sites of the mountain, a full day, or half a day will do.

It has lots of information concerning China train tickets type, buying and booking train tickets.
I suppose you are leaving Zhengzhou for Yuntaishan, aren't you? If so, you can take bus. Yet there is only one departure at 07:20 every day. So you can first get to Jiaozuo from Zhengzhou and then transfer to Yuntaishan. Bus tickets are sold at bus station where you departure.
Yuntaishan enjoys great fame for its scenery. It is advised to stay 1 or 2 days. So spend 1 day for the major tour sights.
