About:China Flight

Hi! I'm looking to visit China for a month in August/September time. I want to visit an academy in Kaifeng.

Would my best bet be to fly to a big city first (Say, Beijing), and then get internal travel when I'm out there to Kaifeng itself?

I looked up a flight to Beijing from London (any airport) and got what seemed a reasonable price of 460... Is that a good price?

I am flexible in every way... Departure airport, destination, multi-stage flight... whatever!

Thanks for any advice you could give!

It would be a lot cheaper for you to get a domestic flight when you arrive.

There is no airport in Kaifeng and the nearest airport is in Zhengzhou (Xinzheng International Airport). You need to fly to Beijign first and then transfer another flight to Zhengzhou. After arriving at Zhengzhou you can take a bus to Kaifeng. There are many buses and the whole way takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

About the flight from London to Beijing, you can buy it in London or your own country and you will get e better price.
