About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Hi,

I am a Malaysian but I am studying in Seattle, USA now. I wonder do I need to China Visa to travel in Shanghai for just a few days? I have seen that Malaysian passport holders are exempted to have a Chinese Visa to gdain enry to Hong Kong and Macau. I wonder is that goes the same as Shanghai, China?

Thanks !

Ms.Joanne, you need a Chinese visa to travel to Shanghai for a few days. Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau apply different exit & enter controls.
