i am visiting alishan end of march.

Question

I am visiting ALishan end of March. Would like to know get up to ALISHAN railway station from THSR Chiayi station?I saw in a website that I can take BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) bus to TRA Chiayi Back station and transfer to Alishan railway station by taking chiayi bus. Appreciate if anyone can provide me more details on the BRT bus and chiayi bus? Can I book it online?Thanks.

Yes, the itinerary is right. Whan you arrive at Chiayi Train Station, please go to the Exit 2 and take the BRT bus to TRA Chaiyi Station. Finally, you could take a train to Alishan respectively at 09:00 and 13:30. The train journey is about 3.5 hours.
