the dam is a fantastic thing for china its improved thier economy, riverways, and now they can control the floods! also they can protect thier industrial areas from floods which if flooded would cripple china, it does come with bad points like the decline of the yangtze river dolphine and people having to move from thier homes.

Yes, it has brought many problems such as scenery loss, climate change and water pollution. But anyway, on the whole, it is a good project to China.

It's a good idea to look at the bad stuff too.

What about all of the money it is saving. Yea the country is poor and many of the people live in poverty right now, but isn't that part of the reason that the government approved building it. I think it was a good thing to build it even though it caused many people to have to relocate because it is also saving the country millions of dollars which could go towards helping the people come out of poverty.
