About:Chinese Embassy in Mongolia

Hello, We are two backpackers traveling on the trans- sibirian train from moscow to Beijing via Mongolia. one of us hold Israeli Pasport and the other hold UK Passport. Is it possible to issue at the Chinese embassy at Ulaanbaatar a visa for China? Thank you

Ms.Issar, you can have a try to apply for Chinese visa in Mongolia, I guess that Uk passport can easily get the visa, Israeli passport holder will face some problems. In principal, applicants should hold the Mongolian work permit or residence permit which allows them to live in Mongolia for a long time, temporary visitors should apply for Chinese visa in their own countries, the visa regulations for UK applicants are not very strict.
