About:Hongkong Attractions

Hello there,

Need your help.. We'll be visiting HK on April 26 (we're coming from Macau btw) and we'll be touring around until the 28th morning, which is our schedule flight back to SG. Just a few queries:

1. How do we get to the Harbourview Hotel (Wan Chai) coming from the HK-Macau Ferry Terminal? If it's by bus, how and where do we get the the Octopus card? If it's by cab, how much is the projected rate?
2. We would like to cover as much spots as possible on the 26th -- The Peak, Madame Tussaud's, Avenue of Stars, Symphony of Lights, (anything else you can recommend?), how do we plan the itinerary then?
3. From Harbourview Hotel, we're planning to check-in the Disneyland Hotel on the 27th. How do we get from the Harbourview Hotel to the Disneyland Hotel? Is it advisable to but the Disney Park tickets ahead of our visit?
4. From the Disneyland Hotel, how do we go to the HK Airport?

Hope it's not much asking. Thank you in anticipation of your response!

Mr.TJ,
No.1 You can take MTR from Sheung Wan to Wan Chai. HK-Macau Ferry Terminal is very close to Sheung Wan MTR Station. You can get there on foot. After getting out of Wan Chai station, you can take a cab to Harbour View Hotel. It won’t cost you too much. Here is a map:
http://www.marriott.com.cn/hotels/maps/travel/hkghv-renaissance-hong-kong-harbour-view-hotel/
Please check it.

You can get Octopus Card at any MTR station. So you can buy Octopus Card at Sheung Wan MTR Station. It can save you some money when you take MTR too.

No.2 Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is on the Victoria Peak. You can go to visit the wax museum when you get to the peak by peak tram. Actually, you can enjoy the Symphony of Lights at the Avenue of Stars. From the Victoria Peak to the Avenue of Stars, you can get back to Central first and then take Star ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier and then go to the Avenue of Stars.

No.3 You can take MTR from Wan Chai to Central and then walk to Hong Kong MTR Station. Then take Tung Chung Line to Sunny Bay and exchange Disneyland Resort Line to get to Disneyland. When you get out of the MTR station, you will find free shuttle bus that can bring you to Hollywood Hotel. The MTR journey only costs you HK$23.5.

As for the ticket, you can either buy it in advance or when you get to Disneyland.

No.4 To get to the airport, you can take MTR to Sunny Bay and exchange Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung and then take S1 airport bus to HKIA.
