About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi

I am a British citizen travelling around the world from April, but want to visit China in October. As such, I can't apply for a Chinese visa in the UK (due to 3 month limit). I am visiting Singapore to see a friend ahead of my trip to China - can I apply for a Chinese visa in Singapore?

Many thanks

Penny

Ms. Penny, Non-Singapore citizens shall provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in the Singapore, such as a PR, WP, EP, STP, DP. Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special case, the visa officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not.

However, I advice that you'd better have a try to apply for it in Singapore, if you are refused, you can go to Hong Kong to get a Chinese visa.
