About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Hello! I am travelling from Manila to Seoul (Incheon), South Korea on February 18, 2010. The first leg of my trip will be from Manila to Xiamen, China, where I will be arriving at 11am via China Southern Airlines; then at 1:30pm, I will leave Xiamen for Seoul via Korean Airlines. My transit into China will only take 2.5 hours, including waiting for my luggage from the first leg and checking in at the Korean Airlines. I was advised by my travel agent and China Southern Airlines that I will not need a transit visa (G) anymore. I also checked with the Visa Exemption guidelines in the website of Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, and it said that "Aliens may be exempted from going through the procedures for obtaining a transit visa if they hold an onward ticket and have booked seats on international airliners flying directly through China, and will stay in a transit city for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport."
So, currently, I don't have a transit visa for China. Will I be able to complete my flight segments? Will I encounter any entry problems upon my arrival in Xiamen airport on February 18? The Chinese Embassy in Manila, PHilippines will be closed from Feb 15-18, 2010. They will not entertain any inquiries on these days. Mr Leeovisa, Ms Carol, please I need your advice. Thank you in advance.

yes, you don't need a visa for the 2.5 hours stopover in Xiamen, please don't go out of the airport.
