About:Hangzhou Travel

Hi, appreciate some advice on following queries :-
1) I am going to Hangzhou for a week in April with my spouse who is not too well and hence, cannot assert himself much. What are the places of interest which do not require too much walking/climbing ?
2) Thereafter, our intention is to visit Lijiang and Shangri-La in North-Western Yunnan province. Is there any Direct flights from Hangzhou to Lijiang and then from Lijiang to Shangri-La ? We heard that these 2 places are very worth a visit.
3) Is April a good month to travel to above places ?
Thanks.

April is a nice season to visit Hangzhou. The weather is warm. It need a lot of walking around the West Lake, you can rent bicycle, or just visit some scneic spots around the lake and get one from another by taxi. Aounr the lake, there are Leifeng Pagoda, Red carp Pool, Silk Museum or tea Museum. Well, I recommend you can go to Dragon Well Tea Village to taste authentic Dragon Well tea (Long Jing tea). You can visit tea plant garden and see how to make then buy some tea, however, the tea is good and expensive too.
hangzhou do not have direct flights to Lijiang and Shangri-La. You should get to Kunming first. Kunming has direct flights to Lijiang or Shangri-la. Shangri-la is beautiful in late April for spring flowers are coming out.
