About:Embassy & Consulates of South Korea in China

Hi! I'm a Chinese citizen with permanent resident status in US. I want to go to South Korea over spring break with an organization. Does anyone know if I will need a visa if I'm just touring/ studying abroad for 10 days? Are my Chinese passport and my green card sufficient? Thank you in advance :)!!

You don't need a visa to South Korea if you go to South Korea by holding USA Green Card or other certificate of permanent residence status in USA and return air ticket. For more information, you can refer to http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/chn/gxh/cgb/zcgmzysx/yz/1206_12/1206x3/t275472.htm (in Chinese version)
