About:Visa Policy of China

Hello,

I am German and currently in Beijing with a L VISA. I want to go to the Philippines for having vacation during Chinese New Year and apply for a Business VISA (F) for China at the Chinese Embassy at Manila.

1. Will the Embassy be open during Chinese New Year (I can't find any information on the website, also I didn't receive a reply via Email)

2. How "safe" is it to get Business VISA (I would provide an invitation letter of my upcoming Company and all necessary documents) ?

Thanks a lot,

The invitation letter should be an official one. It means your upcoming company needs to apply for it with necessary documents in the Chinese authority. Normally it takes 5 working days to process it.

The invitation letters from the companies are not accepted in most embassies/ consulates.

Thanks for the reply. You mean it is safe to get a Business Visa? The most people go to Hong Kong. But I don't understand why I wouldn't get a Visa in any Embassy of China. There is always the same procedure, right?

Do you have experience in that?

Yeah its always the same procedure wheather it's in Hong kong or any other country.
For the business visa you need to exit the country every 30,60 or 90 days depends on the duration of each stay ..
The people who exit the country frequently with get their visa in Hong kong.
If they dont need to go back to their country only for visa they will get it done in Hong kong which is very near to china.
If people dont have their proper documentation they will get their visa done in Hong kong through Agents..
What do you exactly mean to ask IT IS SAFE ..i cannot understand in what terms...
